PLACEMENT POLICY: We place all clubs attending the NIT in properties that we have contracted with throughout Kansas City. Property placement is based on the 100 US Club Ranking System. Placement will be conducted through a trickle down system - top ranked clubs will be placed first (see methodology for more details). If you have any questions regarding the placement or the stay to play policy contact Jared at
jared@triplecrownsports.com or hotels@triplecrownsports.com.

STAY TO PLAY
Upon acceptance into the NIT it is REQUIRED to book your lodging through our approved lodging partners. We encourage all teams to book a minimum of 24 room nights per team AND/OR 80% of what you requested for the tournament. Keep in mind all rooms reserved for the event (parents, teams and coaches) must be reserved through our booking system, which is Event Connect. A link for booking will be provided to club directors or travel coordinators via Jared.

**Any questions regarding reservations or changes to reservations, please reach out to EventConnect Support support@eventconnect.io

Any reservations booked through a third party provider (i.e. directly with the hotel, Hotels.com, Expedia, Hotwire, Hotel Planners) or using reward points or booked outside of the TCS room block will not fulfill your requirement and require the lodging surcharge to be paid or your team will NOT be scheduled into the event.

METHODOLOGY
The biggest difference between our event and other stay to play National Event is at the NIT we place all teams and spectators into their property. The process of placement for teams is highlighted below. Our goal is to ensure all the "key" properties get the pick-up first which is our Downtown, Plaza, Airport Properties and then we will go to outlying areas.
-
1st Phase: Clubs who are ranked in the top 50 of the US TC Club Rankings get first rights to their hotel choices (Downtown and Plaza Area hotels typically fill during this phase) Example: Clubs are placed based on their ranking.  A club that is ranked #1 gets first choice before a club that is ranked #10.
     - Club Admin or Travel Coordinator will work with TC NIT Lodging team on how many rooms and room types they will need.
               - ALL Clubs or Teams will have to use some KING rooms in their request
               - Teams/Clubs must fill at a minimum of 80% of the total rooms they request for the tournament to avoid a surcharge fee.
- 2nd Phase: Clubs who are ranked 50-100 of the US TC Club Rankings get second rights to their hotel choices (Plaza Area and Airport hotel typically fill during this phase)
