2026 TRIPLE CROWN VOLLEYBALL NIT

Event Details

Age Cutoff Date: July 1, 2025
‍
7 Match Guarantee: 3 matches, Saturday (14th) 3 matches, Sunday (15th), 1-3 matches, Monday (16th).
‍
Equipment: Triple Crown and Baden will provide all balls for all teams including practice balls.
‍
Game Times Available: Games times will be posted by February 10, 2026.
‍
Awards: Awards will be given in all age groups for each division offered.
‍
‍PowerPool release: Feb 6, 2026 (TCSN)

Schedule release: Feb 10, 2026 (AES)

These gate passes are good for both BluHawk and Bartle.

Gate Pass Pick Up- As of Saturday, Feb. 15th, Spectators can only purchase Gate Passes on-site at the two locations.
*If you have already purchased your gate pass online you can still pick them up in person.

Saturday, February 15: 6 am to 7 pm

‍All Spectators who enter Bartle Hall @ KC Convention Center and BlueHawk must have a wristband. This pass will give you full access throughout the tournament including Friday through Monday.

**Players, Coaches and Team Admin who are registered for the tournament will receive a tournament credential at team check in.

Camps: 9 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Practice Courts Available: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Team/Club Check-In (Little Theater Outside of Arena when LOVB is playing) – Food and Drinks for All: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday:
AM (7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) – 13u, some 14u, 16u, and 18u
PM (3 p.m. to 8 p.m.) – 12u, some 14u, 15u, and 17u

Same as Saturday with some flexibility in 12u through 14u based on Saturday finish

TRANSPORTATION

Location: MCI Airport and Bartle Hall Convention Center

Price: $20 one way, $35 round trip

‍Our popular shuttle service from the KC airport to the Convention Center is back! Purchase a round trip ticket and solve your transportation when you arrive on Friday, Feb. 14, and secure your trip back to the airport on Monday, Feb. 17.

Friday: Triple Crown staff will welcome you at the terminal and guide you to the shuttle stop where they will scan your QR code and line you up for the next available bus. The first shuttle from KCI to Bartle Hall starts at 10 a.m. with service continuing until 8 p.m. First come, first served. You may have to wait 15 to 30 minutes for your bus upon arrival.

Monday: Shuttles begin leaving the Convention Center for the airport at 11 a.m. and run through 6 p.m. Triple Crown will provide a storage room (not supervised) for luggage on Monday at the Convention Center. You can wait for the bus inside at Lobby 1500.

It is extremely difficult to get an Uber/Lyft at the airport, especially with inclement weather, so we highly recommend preordering our transportation service.
We schedule busses based on the number of preorders, so that is the only way to guarantee a seat

‍Refund Policy: Refunds will be given up to February 1st.
Day of, if there's a flight cancelation or extreme delay that prevents you from arriving in the allotted time for our shuttle service will consider a refund but all refunds will be handled on a case by case basis.

The LOVB Classic is the first-ever professional tournament to run alongside club play. Taking place in the Municipal Arena, LOVB Classic will bring the league’s six professional teams to Kansas City during Triple Crown Sports NIT. Sunday, Feb. 18 at the TC NIT marks our inaugural “Support Women in Sports” day, which offers attendees a chance to embrace the task of finding and growing opportunities for women in the world of sports.

The goal of this initiative is to celebrate and demonstrate support and encouragement to ALL of our female athletes and coaches at the most competitive youth volleyball tournament in the country.

How will this look?
‍Athletes are encouraged to use the Support Women in Sport temporary tattoos that will be handed out at the airport Friday and onsite at the tournament. Teams are also encouraged to wear peach or teal (hair ties, hair ribbons, shoelaces, etc.) to express support for this movement!

Other Activities
‍Sign the Board
We have a giant Support Women in Sports board that ALL female athletes are able to sign and in return will get a FREE sticker featuring the Support Women in Sport logo! This board will be located in the KC Convention main lobby near the elevator entrance to the courts.

Raffle Basket Fundraiser
‍We will be selling raffle tickets onsite ($5 each/$15 for four) for baskets and donations from Triple Crown NIT vendors and sponsors. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the local Women Leaders in Sports an organization focused on helping females find and develop careers within the sports industry.
